We cannot thank you enough! Your support and interest in purchasing local, pasture raised, heritage breed pork has been so exciting for us. Your choice to purchase from a small homestead means that you’re investing in and learning about sustainable agriculture, animal welfare, and the preservation of heritage breeds. It’s more than a transaction; it’s a commitment to the values that sustain both our land and our community.

From the moment our piglets arrived, we poured our hearts and souls into every aspect of their care. Our animals roamed on two lush woodlots and then on green pasture. Basking in the sun, rooting in the soil, snuggling together on the grass and their favourite, wallowing in the mud pit with afternoon hose sprays from the girls. They were never confined to cramped spaces or living on metal mesh. Instead, they thrived on a natural foraging diet, supplemented with wholesome grain feed and gorging on our homestead’s garden weeds/waste. Overgrown cucumber’s were their favourite!

So, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Thank you for choosing to support our homestead and the values we stand for. Thank you for recognizing the importance of knowing where your food comes from and how it’s produced. And thank you for being a part of our journey towards a more sustainable and ethical future. We couldn’t do it without you!
